韓國物價高於台灣約1.3倍,之前台幣與韓圜匯率差更大,所以金先生到台灣購物時直喊"好便宜";我在韓國購物時常叫"好貴"
因金婆婆常買牛肉,所以才知道肉價在韓國是高"金"價格,跟台灣比起來簡直是天壤之別,韓國湯麵裡鮮少看到肉塊;在金先生眼裡台灣一碗牛肉麵售價70元,簡直是不可思議的一件事,瞪大雙眼口中喊: cheap~~~~.
台灣物價相對平穩,便宜又大碗,在金先生心裡小而美又多元的台灣"Formosa~~beautiful island"就是美食天堂啦!
P.S.韓國水果種類不多,金先生常跟韓國朋友提到的台灣是物產豐物且多樣便宜又好吃的水果.

If korean know that you are older than them, they will treat you in a more respectful way. Therefore, they care so much about a person's age.

Mid Autumn Festival

Many Asia countries celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival as harvest festival on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar. Mid-Autumn Festival which is called Chusok (秋夕추석 )known as the Korean Thanksgiving Day is also one of the most importance holidays in Korea. The Three-day Chusok holiday, people take this time to thank ancestors for providing them with rice and fruits, and then get together with family and friends. During this holiday the most of restaurants are off, and the women are busy for preparing food all day long. The traditional rice cakes Songphyun(송편松糕) that are made of rice, beans, sesame seeds, and chestnuts are served in each family. Here also has chinese style moon cakes, and we enjoy the same Moon with family in Korea and Taiwan.

열린음악회 Open Concert

Korean are lucky to have an KBS1 open conert at TV on every Sunday night. There have not only popular stars and songs but also operas and performances, from old generation to young generation. For example, Super Junior, Rain, Girls'generation, many popular K-Pop groups. The performance was a special event for Korea Air Force tonight. I saw Jo In-sung (조인성趙仁成) showed up at the concert because his national duty is in air force now.



The name of team called Brown Eyed Girls whose music with electronic and dance are famous in korea.

愚蠢年代 救地球快動手

〔自由時報〕人類是否已錯失日益渺茫的拯救地球免遭全球暖化蹂躪的機會？探討此一主題的紀錄片「愚蠢年代」（The Age of Stupid），即將於全球各地上映，盼能藉此喚醒世人致力避免淪落到這一步。
紀錄片 籲世人別淪落
全球首場聯合國氣候變遷高峰會將於二十二日在紐約召開，「愚蠢年代」則趕在二十一日於全美超過四百家戲院上映，以及二十二日在從法國巴黎到南太平洋萬那杜等全球六十多個國家以三十二種語言播映。主辦單位表示，預料全球屆時將有超過二十萬人觀賞這部今年稍早曾在英國首映的紀錄片。聯合國前任秘書長安南將出席該片在紐約特別安排的「綠地毯」放映會。
「愚蠢年代」是一部被包裝為未來氣候驚悚電影的嚴肅紀錄片，並輔以若干動畫以說明相關科學內容；片中所設定的年代為二○五五年，由英國一線男星彼特．波梭懷特飾演的老邁檔案員，闡述已遭氣候災難摧殘殆盡的世界，並透過六個人的故事來呈現人類在面對全球暖化時所犯的錯誤。老檔案員沉痛地出示各種影像檔案，並質疑「太驚人了，我們當時到底是以什麼心態去面對滅絕而且置若罔聞？」
22日 全球上映
「愚蠢年代」導演阿姆斯壯女士拍攝這部紀錄片的目的很清楚，就是要在今年底於哥本哈根舉行的商討新的氣候變遷公約之會議召開前夕，喚醒草根力量進而強化群眾壓力。阿姆斯壯認為，當今世人對氣候變遷問題責無旁貸；過去世代都不知有此問題，往後世代即使想扭轉頹勢也為時已晚，「這（個責任）落到我們這個世代。」阿姆斯壯說，當今世代有潛力解決氣候變遷，問題在於是否願意動手試試看。
「愚蠢年代」片名出自美國紐奧良的一名退休石油公司科學家，他認為倘若當今世人未能阻止全球暖化，我們當今這個時代將會被後代子孫視為「愚蠢年代」。阿姆斯壯以靠群眾募捐得來的區區四十五萬英鎊（約台幣兩千三百七十二萬元）拍攝這部影片，慷慨解囊的兩百二十八名捐款人分別投資了五百到三萬五千英鎊，而這些投資人也都能分享該片的利潤。
